¿Cómo estás? Estoy teniendo unas estupendas vacaciones. Pero no te escribo para hablarte de mi. Mi hermana hace amigos fácilmente en casa pero aquí no habla con nadie. No la entiendo. Quiero ayudarla pero no sé cómo. ¿qué piensas que debería hacer?  

El verano pasado mi familia fue de camping. El primer día tuvimos una inesperada aventura. Mientras nuestros padres deshacían las maletas, nosotros decidimos explorar. Nos dimos cuenta que estábamos andando en círculos. Seguimos andando pero nos perdimos. Cuando se hizo de noche, nos cansamos y nos acostamos bajo un árbol. Cuando despertamos, descubrimos que estábamos junto al campamento. 

Cuando Nick fue al museo el resultado fue desastroso. Nick, que había visitado el museo varias veces antes, tuvo un desafortunado accidente.MIentras pasaba por delante de un jarrón, tropezó y cayó. El personal del museo se apresuró a ayudarle y descubrió que había roto el jarrón en miles de trozos.El director envió una carta a Nick diciendo que no quería que él visitara al museo de nuevo. Cuando la gente oyó la noticia, muchos se preguntaron porqué el museo no había tenido mejor cuidado de un jarrón tan valioso. 
 
En 2010, un Americano ideó una manera de animar a la gente a explorar la naturaleza. Enterró un arca del tesoro en una zona montañosa de Nuevo Méjico. Nadie lo ha encontrado todavía pero cientos de personas lo están buscando estos días. El arca contiene oro y joyas por valor de un millón de dólares. Fenn empezó a hacer planes para esta caza del tesoro mientras  se recuperaba de una enfermedad.  Después que hubo decidido qué poner dentro y dónde enterrarlo, escribió un poema con pistas y lo publicó en un libro. "Mi familia se ha divertido mucho intentando encontrarlo", dice uno de los buscadores. "Mañana saldremos para otro intento y estaremos buscando toda la semana".Para cuando tú leas esto, quizás alguien habrá encontrado el tesoro. 
 
La primera foto subida a internet. 
En este momento, millones de personas están subiendo fotos. Nos hemos acostumbrado a esta tecnología pero muchos de nosotros no conocemos su sencillo comienzo. Todo empezó con un científico británico que creó el World Wide Web. Era el verano de 1992 y Berner trabajaba en CERN, un laboratorio suizo y estaba experimentando con formas de subir fotos. Le pidió a un colega una foto. La novia de éste estaba en un grupo musical que escribía y cantaba canciones divertidas sobre los científicos del laboratorio. Los miembros de la banda se estaban preparando para una actuación en 18 de Julio de 1992 cuando Gennaro tomó su foto. Berner la subió y el resto es historia.
